Abstract

PURPOSE: To provide a scroll which is high in accuracy and sufficiently holds the airtightness between laps and an end plate by laying soft braze on the groove bottoms of the end plate, applying a load from the upper side of the laps and melting the soft braze.
CONSTITUTION: Solder 6 is placed on the groove bottom face 8 of an end plate, and while load P is being applied by using an assembling jig 9, the bottom end parts of laps 3 are inserted into the grooves 5 of the end plate 4. Next, the end plate 4 inserted with the laps 3 is shifted into a furnace and while a weight 12 is held applied, the end plate is heated to melt the solder 6, whereby the laps 3 are joined to the end plate 4. Since the laps 3 and the end plate 4 are joined by using the solder 6 by the above-mentioned manner, the cost is low and there is no thermal deformation of the scroll at the assembling, thus the scroll of good airtightness is assembled.
