Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve a heat exchange efficiency, by a method wherein a large number of elements consisting of a small-sized cyclone are placed in parallel in a housing, and fluid to be heated flows through a space in the housing which serves as a heat exchange duct. CONSTITUTION:An air feed duct 2 is connected to a drier 10 and the like, and fluid to be heated or gas is fed into a heat exchange duct 9 through a feed inlet 11 as elements 4 are purged with exhaust gas fed through the duct 2. This enables the exhaust gas and the fluid to be heated to heat exchange with each other by means of a funnel-shaped cylinder surface and the air feed duct which serve as a heating surface. This constitution allows the elements to be sharply increased in the total area, and thereby an extremely high heat exchange efficiency can be obtained.
