Abstract
A polluted fumes purifying and heat recovering system, particularly for driers, comprises a fumes outlet (3) and drying air inlet (4) of a drier (2) serially connected to each other with the interposition of two heat exchangers (5,6) and a hot air generator (9). The first (5) of the heat exchangers transfers heat from the fumes to be conditioned to the return air-flow from the second heat exchanger (6). The second heat exchanger (6) is of the water mix type and purifies, by condensation of the steam developed during the drying process, the polluted fumes. The cooling water in the second heat exchanger (6) is delivered for cooling to a third heat exchanger (7) of the water mix type. The system is powered by a thermal engine (27) the exhaust gases whereof are conveyed to the hot air generator (9).
