Abstract
PURPOSE: To spare energy by causing the setting part of an external setting device to beforehand memorize the combination of minimum motive powers, and operating respective control elements in accordance with the combination memorized.
CONSTITUTION: A setting part 13 of an external setting device A is caused to memorize the combination of minimum motive powers among combinations of motive powers corresonding to respective control modes of a plurality of air compressors 1 with respect to the arbitrary load airflow. When the total airflow is detected by a flow detector 14, and the signal is sent to the external setting device A, the external setting device A discriminates the control mode of the compressor 1 with respect to the airflow signal which has been introduced, on the basis of the curve of minimum power memorized beforehand, and drives respective compressors 1. Accordingly, it is possible to constantly drive the compressor groups at the combination of minimum motive power with respect to the arbitrary load airflow, and sparing of energy can be performed.
