Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent descending and temp. deviations by actually measuring the descending speed and furnace wall temp. or furnace wall side gas temp. at every equal spacing in the circumferential direction of a blast furnace, converting these to indexes, comparing these and the index reference values having beforehand been obtained and adjusting tuyere diameters and the flow of heavy oil to be blown through the tuyeres. CONSTITUTION:Recording rods 2 are provided at an equal interval in a circumferential direction to the top part of a blast furnace 1, and the values of a stock line 3 measured by the rods 2 are inputted to a descending speed operator 4. Index reference values are beforehand set in the operator 4, and if the indexes converted from said measured values are outside the index references, the deviations thereof are outputted to a heavy oil blow rate setter 5, which in turn adjusts the diameter and heavy oil blow rate of tuyeres, thereby preventing the descending deviations and temp. deviations in the circumferential direction of the blast furnace.
