Abstract

PURPOSE: To rapidly perform the mounting and connecting work of a U-pipe by beforehand having a filller matal closely contacted with and held by the U-pipe.
CONSTITUTION: Connection parts 5a, 5a are fitted to the end parts of perpendicularly erected straight pipes 4, 4 from above so as to cover the end parts, after which a U-pipe 5 is heated by heating means to melt filler metals 6, 6 so that said metal is filled between the end parts of the straight pipes 4, 4 and the connection parts 5a, 5a of the U-pipe 5. Thereupon, the mutually adjacent straight pipes 4, 4 are communicated and connected with each other by way of the U-pipe 5 and the U- pipe 5 itself is melt-stuck to the straight pipes 4, 4. Since the filler metal 6, 6 have beforehand been closely contacted with and held by the expanded parts 5b, 5b of the connection parts 5a, 5a in the above-mentioned manner, the process of internally providing the filler metal 6, 6, is saved in the case of connecting these and the disengagement of the filler metal 6, 6 is prevented at the transportation, thus the mounting work of the U-pipe 5 is performed rapidly.
