Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a comfortable ride by means that a high pressure gas is sealed in a device and a spring load of a rear cushion unit is increased so as to prevent an elevation of a front at start of an automobile and the gas is released and the load is reduced under a normal running state. CONSTITUTION:At start of an engine, a secondary gas pressure P2 higher than an initial gas pressure P1 inside a primary gas chamber 20 is carried from a sealing valve 28 into a space at the back of the second free piston 18 and then a spring load of a rear cushion unit 1 is increased. In case where a gas pressure required during running is sealed in the primary gas room, the housing 26 is removed from a tank case 16 and a nut 31 is screwed on a threaded part 23 being projected from a hole 27. With the second free piston 18 in contact with the inwall of the tank case 16, a gas is carried from the first gas sealing valve 25 through a gas sealing hole 24 into the primary gas chamber 20. Thereby, a proper initial gas pressure may be supplied during running.
