Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to remove chips and gas smoothly and effect machining smoothly and efficiently by a method wherein the device is constituted so as to be provided with a supersonic oscillator operating effectively at all times regardless of the configurations or the like of an electrode or a work. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of supersonic oscillators 18, 18 are arranged at proper positions respectively in accordance with the configurations and sizes of the electrode 5 and the work 7 by utilizing rotary holders 11, 12 and supporters 17, 17. In case the electric spark working is effected, these oscillators 18, 18 are operated and are moved reciprocally at circumferences of working sections to effect the working through the holders 11, 12 under rotating a motor 15 into normal and reversed directions periodically by means of a controller. According to such constitution, supersonic wave oscillations penetrate uniformly through working clearances regardless of the configuration or the like of the electrode, therefore, chips and gas are removed smoothly and the machining may be effected smoothly and efficiently.
