Abstract

PURPOSE:To remove one block corresponding to a concaved portion collectively by a method wherein a loop-like working electrode is used and the electrode is moved to an optional shape when forming the concaved portion to a workpiece. CONSTITUTION:A loop-like working electrode 2 is axially mounted to an electrode fitting portion 1 of a discharge working machine body in a revolution-possible shape while employing a shaft 3 as a fulcrum. When working a semicircular concave portion 6 to a workpiece 5, the electrode 2 is beforehand tilted to the fitting portion 1, and the workpiece is discharge-worked rotating the electrode 2 centering around the shaft 3. If deformed, concave portions are needed, however, the arbitrary, desired, deformed, concave portions can be worked by combining operation in each solid axis direction of X, Y, Z. That is, one block corresponding to the concave portion can collectively be removed by such a means.
