Abstract

Forging machine for circular foring of bar-shaped workpieces with at least wto rod-ytpe forging punches which are driven by cams and guided radially to the workpiece axis where the punches from straight guides, running transverse to the workpiece axis, for slide ringg supported on the cams. The guides with the punch longitudinal axes include an angle other than 90 deg. and the puches are inserted so that they can move longitudinally in radial bores of a common setting ring coaxial with the workpiece axis. This setting ring is supported so that it can be rotationally adjusted in the forging box. In addition, the setting ring has a setting arm which can be pivoted via a screw drive.
