Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of conductivity at the contacting portion of spacer, by forming a high resistance layer at the contacting portion of bulb spacer in the portion of funnel having reduced diameter then forming a low resistance layer from the small diameter section to the large diameter section thereafter applying a plug at the small diameter section and forming a conductive layer. CONSTITUTION:A neck tube 35 is connected to a smale diameter section 342 of a funnel 34 then a low resistance layer 381 containing iron oxide is formed from a large diameter section 341 by means of a sponge 42. Then water is contained in the sponge 44 and a portion of the resistance layer 381 is rubbed up while diluting through water to form a low resistance layer 381 having thick film depth and a high resistance layer 382 having thin film depth following to said layer 381. Thereafter it is dried and a rubber plug is contacted against the intermediate section of the resistance layer 382 to form a conductive film through spraying. Consequently insufficient conductivity between a bulb spacer and a connecting section can be prevented without sacrifice of discharging current suppressing effect.
