Abstract
PURPOSE:To remove a poor continuity from the contact parts between a graphite film and high voltage induction unit that makes a contact with said film and improve the quality and reliability of a tube, by providing the graphite film of low resistance value on the wall surface of a funnel part contacted to the high voltage induction unit. CONSTITUTION:In the vicinity of an anode button 4 to be a high voltage induction unit, a contact spring 6 for inducting a high voltage to a shadow mask 5 and a contact piece of a bulb spacer contact 8 for inducting the high voltage to an electron gun structure 7, on the inner wall faces of a funnel part 3, graphite films 10 having a low resistance value are applied and formed. A graphite film 9 having a high resistance value is made in such a manner that its specific resistance becomes 1- 1,000OMEGA-cm by increasing the additive amount of titanium oxide. While the graphite film 10 having a low resistance value is so made that its specific resistance becomes 0.001-0.4OMEGA-cm by increasing the additive amount of graphite. In this way, the quality and reliability of a tube can be improved.
