CONSTITUTION: This wear resistant steel contains 0.40W0.60% C, 0.80W1.70% Si, 0.40W0.80% Mn, 0.60W2.00% Cr, 0.08W0.33% 1/5Mo+V and 0.07W1.00% Al, has high toughness, and undergoes little lowering in the hardness at high temp. When this steel is used as an earth cutting edge material for the inner and tip edges of a bulldozer, the cutting edge of a motor grader, etc., deterioration in the cutting performance at high temp. and wear are prevented, so this steel is suitable for use as a material for parts requiring high toughness and wear resistance for construction machinery, civil engineering machinery, a crusher, etc.
