Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent the efficiency drop during defrosting operation by a method wherein in the heat pump type airconditioner having plurality of compressors, when a compressor starts defrosting operation, simultaneously a compresor in stop is controlled to start operation.
CONSTITUTION: When in operation of a sole compressor 27 a defrosting circuit 8 operates to start defrosting operation, its relay contact 9 finishes to close, C-point ponential drops by so much. When thereby the potential born by a resistor 5 is set to be equal to the potential born either by a resistor 16 or resistor 15, the point F potential is due to drop by so much potential to make E-point potential equal to the former F-point potential. This means that, as A-point potential is higher than the former F-point potential, the output level of the comparator 18 becomes H-level to operate a compressor 28 through an output circuit 25. That is to say that the compressor 27 in defrosting operation is considered to be not existing and E-point and D-point correspond to A-point potential. Namely, when the compressor in operation start to perform defrosting, a compressor in stop simultaneously operates to prevent the circulating water temperature from drop.
