Abstract

PURPOSE: To adjust temperature of water easily between an intersecting part and a joint pipe of a hot and a cold supply water pipe in the titled mixing device such as a shower and the like by a method wherein a bimetal is arranged at the rear of an oscillating plate for dividing quantities of hot and cold waters.

CONSTITUTION: When hot water is supplied by cocks 1, 3 to a cold supply water pipe 2 and a hot supply water pipe 4, as long as the quantities of both flows balance, an oscillating plate 7 oscillates to right and left by the moment of rotation given to a flow receiver 9 and a control plate 8 increases, decreases flow of the cold water pipe 2 or the hot water pipe 4. When both flow-in balance, the oscillating plate 7 stops. When the temperature relation between the hot and cold water varies suddenly and the temperature of the hot water is varied, according to the temperature change of the hot water to the neutral temperature, a bimetal 10 bends to the side of the cold water supply pipe 2 or the hot water supply pipe 4, the deflector 8 is turned from the neutral position to the right or the left, the quantity of the cold supply water or the hot supply water increases or decreases and the temperature of the hot water is controlled to the neutral temperature. Thus, the temperature of the hot water can be controlled easily and kept constant.
