Abstract

PURPOSE: To make sensitive to even a weak local magnetic field, by specifying the magnetizing method of an external skin and ab inner core.
CONSTITUTION: At a small part of one end of an external skin 1 of a magnet wire having high coercive force at the external skin 1 and low coercive force in the inner core 2, is given with reverse magnetization to the magnetizing direction for other parts, and after magnetizing the inner core 2 in the same direction as the small part of one end of the external skin 1, a coil 5 which inverts the direction of magnetization of the inner core 2, and a detection coil 4 are wound on the magnet wire. Thus, the detection coil 4 is connected to an oscilloscope and the magnetization inversion coil 5 is connected to a DC power supply. When the voltage of the DC power supply is gradually incrased so that the magnetic field reverse to the magnetization direction of the inner core 2 can be produced, a voltage accompanied with the inversion of magnetization is produced to the detection coil 4 and the voltage pulse can be observed with the oscilloscope.
