Abstract
PURPOSE:To manufacture the titled steel sheet with superior corrosion resistance, suitability to coating and rigidity by hot dipping an unevenly-patterned cold-rolled steel sheet and optionally carrying out alloying treatment at once followed by leveling and surface polishing. CONSTITUTION:Unevenly-patterned cold-rolled steel sheet 1 is uniformly hot dipped by applying a hot dipping thickness adjusting method by gas spraying. Since hot dipped layer 2 has a uniform thickness the uneven pattern remains almost similarly after the hot dipping. Alloying treatment may be carried out immediately after the hot dipping. Sheet 1 is then leveled to correct the flatness, and protrusions 4 alone of sheet 1 are uniformly polished. Sinse recesses 3 are not polished at this time, they have no luster. Accordingly, the contrast is further raised, and an unevenly-patterned hot-dipped steel sheet with superior appearance is obtd.
