Abstract
PURPOSE:To enable to obtain the directivity of 8-shape with narrow band, by connecting the two dipole antennas with the power feeding line of equal length and providing the signal synthesizer synthesizing the signal from both antennas. CONSTITUTION:To the first and the second dipole antennas 10, 11 in parallel location with an arbitrary distance of (d1), the signal synthesizer 13 is provided via the coaxial cables 8, 9 of equal length. Further, the antennas 10, 11 are opposingly located to have the phase difference of 180 deg. in the phase relation viewed from the synthesizer 13 and located toward Z-Z' axis (vertical axis) and parallel to X-X' axis (horizontal axis). With this constitution, the directivity of the antenna unit is of 8-shape and the gain for the directivity is increased with smaller distance d1 at lambda/2 or less.
