Abstract
PURPOSE: To improve the heat efficiency and make the temperature control of heat exchanging oil easy by a method wherein the heat exchanging oil is passed through pipes closely arranged in the form of a spiral coil provided in the core of a heater housing and hot air is passed through the inner clindrical portion of the pipes.
CONSTITUTION: In an oil heater to supply an asphalt storing facility with heat exchanging oil heated to high temperature, pipes 11 closely arranged in the form of a spiral coil C are provided in the core of a cylindrical heater housing 3 with a proper space between the outer periphery of the spiral coil C and the housing 3. The end side of the pipes 11 is connected to an expansion tank 31 located above the heater housing 3 and the beginning side thereof is connected to the same expansion tank 31 via a circulating pump 33, respectively, so as to circulate the heat exchanging oil by the operation of the pump 33. A burner 19 is attached to the center of a front head member 5 of the heater housing 3 and its flame radiating port 21 is faced a loop of the coil C at the beginning side. Exhaust gas of the flame is discharged from an exhaust port 27 after being passed through in the direction as shown by arrows.
