Abstract

PURPOSE: To improve the efficiency of heat exchange by means of a heat exchanger constructed in a ring with an inner cylinder and an outer cylinder on the blowing side of an axial flow blower arranged at the rear of the vent passage having a combustion chamber formed therein by arranging a plurality of vent cylinders between the inner and outer cylinders in such a manner as to pierce the cylinders longitudinally.
CONSTITUTION: A flame heat of a burner 12 is divided to the right and left from a subcombustion chamber 11 along the outer surface of an inner cylinder 7a through a circular combustion chamber 9 in a heat exchanger 7 to heat a vent cylinder and then, exhausted from an exhaust pipe 15. Blow force of air from the axial flow blower 6 is weak at the center of the blowing plane and strong in the peripheral area. However, as the combustion chamber 9 is formed in a ring, the flame heat of the burner 12 is concentratedly inducted on the strong portion of the blow force to be heated up to a high temperature while the central portion is heated at a low temperature. Thus, according to strength of the blow force, evenly heated hot air is delivered from a hot air outlet 3. Heating according to the blow force can improve the efficiency of heat exchange.
