Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce NOX by a method wherein in the passage of combustion gas near the outlet of the radiation tube of a radiation tube heater is provided a waste heat collecting mechanism of a duplex pipe which is equipped with a function as a heat exchanger for producing tempered air and a waste gas recycling function. CONSTITUTION:The air 4 used for combustion is changed into tempered air while the air 4 for combustion is guided into the internal tube 5 of a recuperator (waste heat collector) 3 connected near the outlet of a radiation tube 1 which penetrates the wall of the heating furnace and is arranged in a U-form, is returned in a U-form along the bottom of an external tube and heated between high temperature inside fins 6e.
