Abstract
PURPOSE:To transmit and receive circular polarized waves and to increase the mass-productivity, by using spiral antenna. CONSTITUTION:A spiral antenna 3 is connected via, e.g. an impedance matching circuit, to a coaxial cable, and this coaxial cable is connected to a rectangular waveguide via a coaxial and waveguide conversion circuit. A spiral antenna 3 is placed at the focus of a parabola reflecting mirror 1 or near the focus to constitute a two- conductor Archimedes' spiral in which a spiral is in existence in a plane orthogonal to the axis of the parabola reflection mirror 1. The circular polarized waves can be transmitted and received by using the spiral antenna 3 like this.
