Abstract
PURPOSE:To increase the sensitivity of reception of ultrasonic waves from the reflection body placed in front with a simple constitution, by locating the ultrasonic wave receiver at the back of the transducer and fitting the curved reflector with the support lever fitted to a part of the receiver. CONSTITUTION:The flat reflector 3 is provided in front of the transmission/reception plane 1a of the transducer 1 which can transmit and receive ultrasonic waves, and the ultrasonic wave receiver 4 is placed at the back of the transducer 1. The support lever 6 is fitted at a part of the receiver 4, and the curved reflector 7 is fitted to the free end 6a of the support lever 6 by opposing it to the reception plane 4a of the receiver 4. Further, the ultrasonic waves reflected on the reflector 3 are received at the trasmission/reception plane 1a of the transducer 1, and a part of the ultrasonic waves reflected is reflected on the reflector 7 to enable to be received with the reception plane 4a, allowing to increase the sensitivity of reception of ultrasonic waves reflected from the reflector 3.
