Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an excellent regenerative image regardless of the temperature change of an objet bu providing two kinds of memories, one of storing detection signals from a sensing element array or the like bit by bit and the other for storing operation results so that the signal of the reference light source can follow the signal corresponding to the temperature change of the object. CONSTITUTION:An infrared sensing signal from a reference light source is entered from a sensing element array into an amplifier OA, passed through an analog/digital converter 2, data selector 3, adder-subtracter 4, latch circuit 5, and switches SW(I) and SW(II), and stored in the first memory 7 bit by bit through a loop I. The operation result of the input signal is stored in the second memory 8 through a loop II, and compared with the reference from a reference signal generator 32 by a comparator 31. According to the comparison result, the current for a heater 30 is varied, so that the temperature of the reference light source is adjusted. Since the difference between the signal from the object and the signal from the reference light source in the first memory is obtained by the adder-subtracter 4, and output as an image through a digital/analog converter 6, an excellent image can be obtained regardless of the temperature change of the object.
