Abstract

PURPOSE: To raise the introducing efficiency of sunlight energy by improving a light coupler used in a system with respect to the refractive index in which sunlight energy is collected by an optical system, and the collected light energy is transmitted through a light coupler and then a light conductive cable.
CONSTITUTION: A sunlight energy collector 1 consists of a lens 2 to collect sunlight energy L, a framework 3 and a base plate 4 to hold the lens 2, and a light coupler 5 to introduce the sunlight energy L collected by the lens 2 in to a light conductive cable 6. The light coupler 5 used is made up of plural light permissive parts 51W5n of different refractive indexes, which are arranged in the order of decreasing refractive indexes along the progress direction of the sunlight energy. Thus, the sunlight energy L collected by the lens 2 is gradually focused at the center of a light coupler 5 and effectively introduced into the light conductive cable 6.
