Abstract

PURPOSE: To capture solar light energy as high density light energy and transmit with good efficiency by focusing solar light, providing a photo conductor in the focusig position and selecting the incident angle of the image entering this photo conductor at the accepting angle of the photo conductor.
CONSTITUTION: The diameter of a photo conductor is about 0.1mm and an optical system 2 of f=10mm or under is necessary to obtain a solar image of smaller than this dimension. If the incident angle θ to the photoconductor 3 is going to be made accepting angle 30° or under of an optical fiber, the diameter of a relay lens become about 10mm or under. The use of a Fresnel lens 1 of a diameter 30cm enables pure light energy close to about 40W may be transmitted by allowing for transmission losses. In this way, solar light energy may be captured as high density light energy and the light energy having been captured may be transmitted with good efficiency to a desired place. This device may be put to practical use by using currently marketed parts.
