Abstract

PURPOSE: To obtain a master which is excellent in a resolving power and a number of printed sheets, by a method wherein a material, in which dyestuffs are dispersed in a heat soluble hydrocarbon material, is used as a master for hectographic printing, and an ink injector is used for forming the master.
CONSTITUTION: An original on a drum 11 with an original is read by means of an optical detector 16, and a voltage is applied by means of a high voltage power source 28 between nozzle 23 of an ink jet head 15 and a grounding opposite electrode 24 according to a picture signal A of said optical detector 16. Ink 30 in an ink tank 22 is a material which is formed such that 10% or more of dyestuffs is dispersed in a heat soluble hydrocarbon material whose several percent is dissolved with alcohol, and the ink is a solid at the room temperature. However, it is heated by means of a heat controller 26 to become liquified, whereby it jets out by applying a voltage to a nozzle 23, and is solidified immediately after it is adhered to a master sheet P on a master-forming drum 10. Alcohol, such as methanol, etc., is used for transferring of said master.
