Abstract

PURPOSE: To increase the efficiency of the dynamic consolidation for poor subsoil by actuating an expansion/pressing mechanism through operation of a hydraulic jack and letting a weight drop by its own weight.
CONSTITUTION: A suspension device 4 is attached to a wire rope 3 winding around the top sheave 2 of a crane boom 1. Then a weight 5 having a tapered linkage inner wall is lifted by the device 4 in a releasable manner. When the weight 5 has ascended to a prearranged height, the weight 5 is released through the action of the device 4 caused by the operation of a hydraulic jack 6, so that weight 5 drops by its own weight to compact the ground.
