Abstract

PURPOSE: To save energy by connecting the passage of bottom side of the boom cylinder to the oil pressure pump motor that is coupled with the flywheel and by temporarily storing energy in lowering the boom to use it in raising the boom.
CONSTITUTION: The oil pressure pump motor 51 coupled with the flywheel 52 is connected to the passage 252 of the bottom side of the boom cylinder 12 through the change-over valve. When the boom is lowered, the change-over valve 45 is turned to the upper position, the other one 46 is done to the lower position, the direction change-over valve 44 is moved rightwards and the oil pressure pump motor 51 is operated as a motor. Then oil from the boom cylinder acts on the oil pressure pump motor 51, the potential energy held by the boom 11 is converted into the rotating energy to the flywheel 52. When the boom is raised, the oil pressure pump motor is operated as a pump, the energy stored in the flywheel can be used to save energy.
