Abstract

PURPOSE:To elevate the sealing effect and to improve the water tightness of a motor by a method wherein a block type sealing member is pinched and holded between the yoke and the rear cover, and an insulating tube of the lead wires is closely inserted in an inside hole being provided in the sealing member. CONSTITUTION:The block type sealing member 8 is pinched and holded at the junction part of the yoke 10 and the rear cover 11 of the motor 1. The inside hole 12a is provided in the sealing member 8, a ring type framing groove 12b is provided at the upper part of the junction position of the yoke 10 and the rear cover 11, and a flange type framing groove 12c is provided at the lower part. A ring type projection 13b and a flange type projection 13c are provided on the circumference of the insulating tube 7 of the lead wires 5, and are framed respectively to the framing groove 12b and 12c of the sealing member 8. By this way, the sealing effect of the starting motor can be elevated, and the sealing member 8 can be joined tightly.
