Abstract

PURPOSE: To measure electric energy with high accuracy and stably by a method wherein current and voltage are converted in an A/D converter, and thereafter, digital multiplication is performed and further, accumulation in high accurate time is performed.
CONSTITUTION: A current signal is detected through a current detector 10 and is converter into a digital signal through an A/D converter 12 and thereafter, it passes through an input register 14 and is read in a processor 16. In the same way, a voltage signal adding in a load is detected through a voltage detector 11 and is converted into a digital signal through an A/D converter 13 and then, it passes through an input register 15 and is read in the processor 16. The processor 16 is constantly accessing a digital input circuit 20 and when a start signal ST becomes "1", then, it multiplies a digital value of current by a digital value of voltage to obtain electric energy. And further, the processor 16 obtains electric energy by each hour by a timer 19 and this electric energy quantity is displayed on a numeric indicator 18 by means of an output register 17.
