Abstract

PURPOSE: To simplify structure and to facilitate a practical use to various system by using the voltage dependence of switch temperature of a heat sensitive thyristor.
CONSTITUTION: A time constant circuit 7 consisting of a capacitor 4 for the charging and discharging use required for oscillation and a resistor 6 for charging the capacitor 4, a series circuit 12 consisting of a three terminal switching element 2, an n gate heat sensitive thyristor 3 and a load 5, and a series circuit 13 consisting of resistors 8, 9 for the bias use are combined to be connected to a DC power source 1. With this, when the temperature to be detected is low, an output voltage is not generated across the load 5 owing to the voltage dependence of switching temperature of the heat sensitive thyristor 3, and when temperature rises to reach a given value, a slack oscillation is started and further, when temperature rise still more, an oscillation period becomes shorter for the time corresponding to the switching voltage lowering, thus, a pulse output of high oscillation frequency emerging at both terminals across the load 5. On this account, this can be easily put in a practical use in a surface temperature detecting system, an alarm device and others.
