Abstract
PURPOSE:To perform highly reliable and accurate temperature sensing all the time by using a horn with a spcified structure. CONSTITUTION:The infrared-ray sensing device which is incorporated into the upper wall of a heating chamber 3 of an electronic oven, is constituted by an outer member 11 which is bent to form a U shaped cross section, a motor 12 wherein a light chopper 15 is fixed to the tip of a rotary shaft, and a horn 13 to which the infrared-ray sensor 14 is fixed. The horn 13 is constituted by coating the surface of the resinous main body having a bugle shaped conical hollow portion by a radiowave shielding body. The horn is coaxially fixed to the periphery of the window 11a of the outer member 11, with the large diameter opening part being the bottom. In this constitution, the angle of the sensing field of the infrared-ray sensor 14 is effectively defined by the opening angle of the conical hollow portion of the horn 13, the effects of the distance between the infrared-ray sensor 14 and the material to be sensed are eliminated, thereby the expected objective can be accomplished.
