Abstract

PURPOSE: To enable an object in a remote place to be supervised with a three-dimensional feeling and obtain a remote stereoscopic supervising device which is strong to noise, is small in size and light in weight by transmitting the images of the object to be supervised to a remote supervising place by the use of optical fibers.
CONSTITUTION: Imaging adapters 13 form the image of an object 1 to be supervised on the input end faces of image fibers 12. These imaging adapters 13 are adjusted by the imaging adapter controller 14 disposed in proximity in response to the operation signal, for example, electric signal, from the imaging adapter control panel 16 provided in a remote supervising place. Right and left both eye viewed images transmitted by the image fibers 12 are enlarged and formed to match the same positions as a bright viewing distance D from the supervisor's eyes 6, 7. In this way, the object in a remote place may be supervised with a stereoscopic feeling and the remote stereoscopic supervising device which is strong to noise, small in size and light in weight may be obtained.
