Abstract
PURPOSE:To control an adapter for photographing by means of the optical fibers for transmission of driving energy and transmission of data signals provided around picture image bundled optical fibers. CONSTITUTION:A photographing adapter 1 of an endoscope or the like having a driving mechanism 4 is coupled to an imaging adapter 2 by means of an optical fiber 3 for direct transmission of images. An optical fiber 5 for transmission of energy and an optical fiber 6 for transmission of data are provided together around this optical fiber and since a method of transmitting the energy of the driving mechanism 4 and the control signal in the form of light directly through these optical fibers 3 and photoelectrically converting these is employed, the need for any mechanical transmission mechanism is eliminated, and the transmission system which is light in weight and is simple is obtained.
