Abstract
PURPOSE:To ensure the specified molding density while improving the magnetic property with the proper orientation by specifying the ratio of an outlet area of an extruder to the outlet area of a die. CONSTITUTION:The ratio S0/S between the outlet area S0 of the extruder 7 and the outlet area S of the die 2 used communicated thereto is fixed at 5-150. This can heighten the molding density of the molded body thereby allowing the prevention of cracks which will develop during the drying and the sintering, while elevating the magnetic property beyond that with the static press. When performing the extrusion molding employing this die, an aditive for forming glasslike material is given to the magnetic oxide powder at the rate of about 0.1-2wt%. The addition of the mixing medium is properly fixed at 10-30wt% and the binder at 0.3-3wt%. With such as arrangement, the specified density can be attained thereby preventing possible cracks while magnetic property can be improved with a proper orientation due to the drawing effect.
