Abstract

PURPOSE: To recover a high calorie gas, to reduce the volume of plastics, and to make the treatment of its residue with ease, by letting a high-temperature overheated steam emitted from the preheating boiler of a garbage furnace blow in the gasification device of a plastic.
CONSTITUTION: The steam generated in the preheating boiler 6 of the garbage furnace 2 is converted to a high-temperature over-heated steam with temperature higher than a pyrolyzing temperature of a plastic by the steam heating device 15, and the high-temperature overheated steam is made to blow in the gasification device 1 of plastics placed side by side with the garbage furnace 2.
