Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent engine damage caused on a overheat and overspeed operation by providing a lagging angle means of an ignition timing linking with a throttle valve operation at a throttle valve high output position. CONSTITUTION:At an idling-and-high output position a linking member 18 engages on a projecting part of a cam 17, an ignition time controlling switch is opened, a relay 27 is put in the nonoperating state and a lagging angle side interrupter 25 is connected with an ignition coil 11 in parallel with a leading angle interupter. Thereby no ignition takes place until the lagging angle interupter 25 is interupted by a cam shaft 23, thus the ignition period is leading. That is to say that the switching of the leading and lagging angles is done by a make-and-break operation of the ignition period control switch 15 through the operation of a grip 16.
