Abstract

PURPOSE: To eliminate throttling operation when an engine is started, by storing the relation between temperature of the engine and an opening degree of its throttle valve at the time of starting the engine and holding the opening degree of the valve at the starting for a certain time in accordance with the stored temperature of the engine.
CONSTITUTION: The relation between temperature TE of an engine and an opening degree Qth of its throttle valve is stored in a memory 1. When a starter switch S1 is turned on, a one-shot multivibrator 3 outputs an output pulse, then the opening degree Qth of the throttle valve passes through an AND gate 2 and is held in a holding circuit 4. Then the signal of the opening degree, because a selector switch 5 is turned on, is fed to a throttle valve opening controller 8 as a control target value. If the switch S1 is turned off, a selecting control signal is output from a terminal 9 and delayed in a delay circuit 6 by a certain time to select the switch from the holding circuit 4 to an idle circuit 7.
