Abstract
PURPOSE:To produce a cold-rolled steel plate of superior deep drawability by hot rolling, cold rolling, continuously annealing and cooling an extra low carbon Al killed steel slab under specific conditions then subjecting the same to overaging treatment. CONSTITUTION:A slab of an Al killed steel contg. 0.004-0.025% C, 0.05-0.40% Mn, 0.02-0.10% Sol.Al is hot-rolled to a plate material, after which it is coiled at <=700 deg.C temp., whereby the deposition of AlN is suppressed. This hot-rolled steel material is heated to 750-850 deg.C at 10-60 deg.C/sec. temperature raising rates and is then continuously annealed for 10-120sec., whereby the deposition of AlN at the heating stage is suppressed. Next, it is cooled to the temperatures between 500 deg.C-A1 transformation point at 5-250 deg.C/sec. cooling rates and is subjected to overaging for 1-3min at these temperatures. The AlN in the steel is utilized as deposition nucleus to accelerate the deposition of C in the steel and provide remarkable effect of nonaging, whereby the cold-rolled steel plate of superior deep drawability is produced.
