Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent generation of spark and restrain mechanical wear by injecting electroconductive mixture of electroconductive particles and oily substance across each commutator piece to be adhered in a clearance between commutator pieces. CONSTITUTION:In clearances 5-1-5-3 between commutator pieces 3-1-3-3 fixed on the outer circumference of an insulative cylinder 4, an electroconductive mixture 6 of electroconductive particles such as metal particles or carbon, and oily substance is injected across each commutator pieces 3-1-3-3 to be adhered therein as if they were coated. In this way, spark generation is prevented and as a result, electric noise generation is restrained because the electroconductive mixture 6 has the same voltage-current property as a varister. In addition, mechanical wear can be restrained because brushes 1-1, 1-2 and commutator pieces 3-1-3-3 are benefited by the mixture working as lubricant between them. Further, cost is minimized due to other parts for spark protection being dispensed with.
