Abstract

PURPOSE:To enable a memory core to be constituted of monolithic IC's or of hybrid IC's and to contrive to produce in a small size at a low cost by a method wherein the memory core is constituted having a prescribed shape and structure containing CoO for the improvement of temperature rise and Nb2O5 for the prevention of squarish deterioration. CONSTITUTION:A ferrite memory core is consisted of MnO:20-40mol%, ZnO:17- 25mol%, LiO2:3-7mol%, Fe2O3:40-55mol%, Nb2O5:1.0-3.0mol%, CoO:0.5- 2mol%, the shape exhibits a toroidal form having the outside diameter of 30mil, and is constituted to enable the switching by the driving current If of 150mA or less. By this way, the whole peripheral circuits of a core memory matrix can be consituted of monolithic IC's or of hybrid IC's, the device can be made in small size and at a low cost, and a ferrite memory core having a superior characteristic can be obtained.
