952,663. Magnetic structures; magnetic storage devices. SIEMENS & HALSKE A.G. March 27, 1961 [March 28, 1960], No. 11089/61. Headings H1H and H1T. A ferrite core of a transfluxor is provided with a more rectangular hysteresis loop by a postsintering heat treatment in a magnetic field, which consists of heating to 400‹ C. and cooling for 1 to 15 hours, preferably 4 hours. The transfluxor may have a conventional shape or be as shown in Fig. 4. The magnetic field may be produced by a conductor through the aperture 5. The ferrite may have the composition 57 mol. per cent Fe 2 O 3 , 27.5 mol. per cent NiO, 12.5 mol. per cent ZnO, 3.0 mol. per cent MnO, to which is added 0.7% by weight CoO.
