Abstract
PURPOSE: To perform the purification of air effectively without using an air-feeding fan of large capacity by a method wherein the exhaust from an air-exhausting fan which exhausts the air inside a building through the intermediary of a high-performance filter for removing particles in the air is made to flow back to the suction port of the air-feeding fan which feeds the air into the building.
CONSTITUTION: In the case when the system is applied to the building 1 of an atomic power station during the operation of a unclear power reactor, valves 7 are closed, valves 9 are opened, and the exhaust from the air-exhausting fan 4 is cooled by a heat-exchanger 11 is a returning pipe 10 and returned to the suction port of the air-feeding fan 2, since it is necessary to cool the inside of the building 1 during the operation of the reactor. In the meantime, during the stoppage of the reactor, the exhaust is retured, being left as it is, to the suction port of the air-feeding fan 2 through the returning pipe 8.
