Abstract
PURPOSE: To carry out fully automatically the cremating operation including carrying of a coffin truck into a crematory, cremation, carrying of the coffin truck into a cooling room of burnt bones in a cremation equipment in which the bone cooling room is positioned between a preparing room and the crematory only after an operator puts a coffin on the coffin truck.
CONSTITUTION: In order to start a cremation, an exchaust blower 34 is operated and an afterburner 24 in a seondary incinerator 14 is fired. Then, a front door 4 of the preparing room A and an inner door 18 of the crematory 1 are opened. The coffin truck 2 in the bone cooling room B is transferred into the preparing room A on a chain belt. After the coffin is put on the coffin truck 2, the truck 2 is moved through the bone cooling room B into an inner room C of the crematory 1. The inner door 18 and the front door 4 are closed automatically. In this state, a hot air from a heat exchanger 26 is injected into the crematory through a blowing port 20. In succession, a main burner 22 is fired and the cremation is carried out. When the cremation is finished, the truck 1 is moved into the bone cooling room B, where the truck 1 is cooled by the cooling air fed through a cooling air blowing port 10.
