Abstract

PURPOSE: To perfom accurate position control, by controlling the pressurization of a pressure chamber, which is provided in a structural member, to correct the inclination or the like of each portion of a machine.
CONSTITUTION: A filled fluid 5 is pressurized by the twisting-in adjustment of a pressurizing screw 6x to apply expansion pressure to an entire pressure chamber 4x. Since the bottom of a member 1 is fixed on the body of a correction device, the pressure of the fluid thruss the wall of the pressure chamber 4x upwards and pushes up the right-hand end of the memver 1 provided with the pressure chamber 4x, thereby tilting a tip tool 3 in the direction of an axis X. Similarly, the tip tool 3 can be tilted and controlled in the direction of another axis Y by the twisting-in control of a Y-axis pressurizing screw 6y.
