Abstract

PURPOSE: To easily and surely align the axial core of a bar material to the center line of a die and perform the work of supplying the bar mterial even if the bar material varies in its thickness, by providing two support arms in such a manner as to be rotated in a same phase in a reverse direction to each other through gears.

CONSTITUTION: In the periphery of cylinders 2, 2 protrusively provided on a machine base 1, barrel bodies 3, 3, while in the inner circumference of the cylinders 2, 2, erecting shafts 4, 4 are rotatably equipped respectively. If one of the barrel bodies 3 is rotated in such a manner that its support arm 5 moves toward a center line 0, the other support arm 5 also moves toward the center line 0 to rotate in a same phase through gears 7, 7, and this causes both rollers 6, 6 having a V-groove to make turning motion in such as direction as to approach each other and hold a bar material M. While if the arm 5 is rotated in a direction reverse to that described above, the both rollers 6, 6 make a turning motion in a same phase in such a direction as to separate from each other from the center line 0. In this consistution, the bar material M can be supplied by allowing its axial core to easily and surely coincide with a center line P of a die 8.
