Abstract
PURPOSE: To take out wave-energy as power-energy by installing a cylinder on the sea bottom and another cylinder with a weight on the land and connecting small- diameter cylinder parts in which respective pistons are slided via a high-pressure hose.
CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 1 is set up on the sea bottom 3, while on the land 11, a cylinder 12 with a weight 14 is provided to be connected to a power take-out means 10. Their small-diameter cylinder parts 5 and 22 in which piston rods 8 and 24 are respectively slided are connected via a high-pressure hose 25. When a water pressure W is given to a piston 6 in the cylinder 1, a piston rod 24 is shifted down by work of the weight 14 to rise a piston 6. When waves are changed to increase a water depth Ha and a water pressure Wa is added, the piston 6 is shifted down and the piston rod 24 is risen. Thus, a power take-out means 10 is operated, and the energy of the wave can be taken out as the energy of motive power.
