Abstract
PURPOSE: To make it possible to realize a high-speed response of the bus system digital input unit, by providing a dual port memory which is able to write and read at the same time, and writing the information of a normally inputting contact into this memory.
CONSTITUTION: A microprocessor μPC101 of the bus system digital input unit 100 drives an address driver 103 at a constant cycle in accordance with a program from ROM102, reads the inputting contact information from the inputting contact group 20, and writes it in a dual port memory 105. The memory 105 always has new information of an input contact, which has been written in it. Since the contents of the memory 105 can be read irrespective of the operation of μPC101, the external equipment is able to read the contents of the memory 105, that is, the inputting contact information without waiting, and a high speed response can be realized.
