Abstract

PURPOSE: To make it possible not only to reduce the current consumption but also to increase the amplification gain to an error signal and elevate the voltage stabilizing characteristic, by forming the circuit by use of two pnp transistors by which a current Miller circuit is formed, and an npn transistor.
CONSTITUTION: When the circuit is in an operating state, pnp transistors 16, 17 form a current Miller circuit, and operate so that the base-emitter voltage can be equal. Also, the npn transistor 18 operates so that an error signal between a nonstable state and a stable state of this circuit can be amplified. The resistor 21 operates so that the negative feedback voltage can be detected. In this case, the base current of the transistors 16, 17 is all supplied as a collector current of the transistor 18, and also the transistors 16, 17 operate as an independent current amplifier circuit, respectively. Therefore, since both the current gain of the transistor 18 and the current gain of the transistors 16, 17 contribute to the amplification gain of an error signal, the voltage stabilizing characteristic can be elevated.
